U.S. Sanctions on Iranian Intermediaries

The United States has imposed sanctions on five individuals and seven entities, which the Treasury Department clarified are intermediaries for Iran's missile and drone programs. The U.S. Treasury Department stated in a statement that the targeted individuals and entities, operating from Iran, China, and Hong Kong, are assisting in the procurement of various components, including accelerometers and gyroscopes, for Iran's ballistic missile and drone program.
