Adobe Analytics has predicted that shoppers worldwide will spend nearly $14 billion during the Amazon Prime Day shopping event this week. Adobe stated that spending on Amazon could increase by 10.5% during this event compared to spending during the same event in 2023. Amazon has been hosting this event for nearly a decade, usually held in July. "Prime Day" accounts for between 1 to 2 percent of Amazon's net sales globally, according to research from CFRA. Amazon began advertising pre-"Prime Day" deals in early July, specifically on clothing, back-to-school supplies, health products, and electronics, although it scheduled the event five days earlier this year compared to last year.
