In a statement after casting his vote, reported by "Tasnim," Khamenei stated that "Election Day is a time of activity and enthusiasm in the country, especially since it is the presidential election." He emphasized that "Iran's dignity and reputation depend on the people's presence, and I hope Iranians participate in this significant event." He pointed out that "a large turnout is necessary to demonstrate the legitimacy and integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran." The voting process has commenced abroad for Iranian citizens residing in New Zealand, according to the "IRNA" news agency. Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi previously stated, "The number of eligible voters exceeds 61 million." The Iranian presidential elections are set to take place among four candidates: Saeed Jalili, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Masoud Pezeshkian, and Mostafa Pur-Mohammadi.
