After Israel announced on Saturday the recovery of 4 hostages following violent clashes with Hamas fighters in central Gaza, a U.S. official stated that an American task force assisted in the liberation of the four Israelis. According to Axios, the American cell involved in searching for hostages and located in Israel aided in the operation.
The Israeli military declared on Saturday the "rescue" of four living hostages who were held in Gaza after a "complex operation" in the camp. Spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated on the platform X that "this morning, 4 Israeli captives were rescued: Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Zeif (40)," according to AFP. He noted that these individuals were taken hostage by Hamas while attending a music festival in southern Israel on October 7, affirming that "their health condition is good."
Additionally, spokesperson Daniel Hagari mentioned that hundreds of Israeli soldiers participated in a special operation that involved gunfire to save the 4 living hostages from Hamas, who were holding them in Gaza.
