Etihad Airways Launches Global Campaign to Hire Hundreds of Pilots

Etihad Airways has launched a global campaign to recruit pilots, stating that it plans to onboard hundreds of them over the current and next year. The company, which is the national airline of the UAE, announced in a press release on its website this Thursday that it will begin the campaign in eight European cities before moving to various locations around the world to conduct interviews with interested pilots. The list of cities includes Cyprus, Bulgaria, Albania, Romania, Hungary, Poland, and Lithuania. The company noted that pilots will enjoy excellent career advancement opportunities, a tax-free salary, a wide range of benefits, and free accommodation in the capital, Abu Dhabi. The statement mentioned that Etihad is seeking pilots of all ranks and those working on various types of aircraft within its fleet, including Airbus A320, A350, A380, as well as Boeing 777 and 787, and Boeing 777 freighters. As one of the fastest-growing airlines in the world, Etihad plans to double its fleet size by 2030 compared to 2022, according to the statement.
