Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi emphasized today, Tuesday, the "importance of peaceful solutions to international and regional crises." According to the official website of the Egyptian presidency, Sisi, during a phone call with Czech President Petr Pavel, stressed the "necessity of international efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and to urgently implement humanitarian aid to address the catastrophic humanitarian conditions faced by the Palestinian people in Gaza." He affirmed the need to take effective steps to prevent the escalation of the conflict and to reach a comprehensive and fair solution to the Palestinian issue based on the two-state solution.
