Hezbollah announced on Saturday evening that it targeted a building used by the Israeli army in the Kfar Yovel settlement with missiles, stating it shelled the command center of the battalion in the Beit Hillel barracks using "Falaq-2" rocket launchers. Haaretz reported that fires broke out in the Malakiya area north of Israel following missile launches from southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah also stated that it targeted a building belonging to Israeli military intelligence in the Maskaf Am settlement with "suitable weapons," claiming a "direct hit, resulting in its destruction and igniting fires within, causing casualties among those inside." The group confirmed it hit a building used by Israeli soldiers in the Metula settlement, affirming a direct hit.
The party mourned the death of Ridwan Ali Issa "Bilal," born in 1977 from the town of Houmine Tahta in southern Lebanon. It also issued a separate statement mourning Ahmed Ali Youssef "Sadiq," born in 2003 from the town of Shahebaa in southern Lebanon.
For its part, the Israeli army stated in a statement that "one of its fighters targeted a Hezbollah terrorist in the Aitaroun area," adding that its aircraft also struck "terrorist infrastructure in the Khiam area." The Israeli army acknowledged damage to buildings in the Malakiya and Maskaf Am sites due to missile launches from southern Lebanon. Additionally, the Israeli army reported it bombed a building while Hezbollah elements were inside in the town of Markaba in southern Lebanon and hit four launch sites belonging to Hezbollah in the regions of Shehin, Zibqin, Huna, and Hula in southern Lebanon.
