According to the Tasnim news agency, Palestinian media reported today, Wednesday, calls for a general strike and demonstrations of anger, as well as an escalation of "resistance against the occupation throughout Palestine," following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of Hamas. In the wake of Haniyeh’s assassination, widespread calls for strikes and intensified activities against the Zionist regime have emerged.
