Iran: We Do Not Ask for Permission from Anyone to Respond to Israel

Iran stated in response to Western calls: "We do not ask for permission from anyone to respond to Israel." The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that the calls from France, Germany, and Britain, or the group known as the European Troika, urging Tehran to exercise restraint regarding its response to Israel "lacks political logic and contradicts the principles of international law."
