Israeli Intelligence Believes Iran Has Decided to Attack Israel Directly

Axios reporter Barak Ravid cited two sources on Sunday, stating that "Israeli intelligence believes Iran has decided to directly attack Israel and may do so within days." He added that "the attack will be in response to the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran in late July. Israel has neither confirmed nor denied responsibility for the incident." The sources revealed that "Iran's attack on Israel is expected to begin before the scheduled hostage deal talks on August 15."
