A generator owner in the Mar Elias area was killed after being shot during a significant altercation between generator owners. According to security sources revealed to "Al-Akhbar," the conflict occurred between the group of an individual named "Abbas H," who owns generators in the area, and brothers Ahmad and Hussein E. (who also own generators) over the latter's attempt to extend cables in a location deemed outside their boundaries according to the "generator state" laws.
Sources indicate that Ahmad E. was shot in the heart with a service weapon and was subsequently taken to Al-Zahraa Hospital, where he died. His brother Hussein E. was also injured, along with Ibrahim A. and individuals known as "Abu Al-Toul" and "Abu Al-Walid." In the aftermath, the area experienced significant tension, prompting a heavily armed contingent of the Lebanese army to swiftly arrive at the scene. The sources confirmed that some members of Abbas H.'s group were arrested following a raid by military intelligence on his office, where computers and other items were confiscated.
