The "Al-Quds Brigades," the military wing of the "Islamic Jihad" movement, announced that they "shelled the soldiers and vehicles of the occupation in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, using 60mm mortar shells." They added, "We inflicted casualties among the occupation's soldiers, both killed and wounded, by targeting a house where they took shelter with an anti-personnel shell in Tal al-Hawa."
