America Provides $3.5 Billion to Israel

CNN reported today that Washington is set to provide Israel with $3.5 billion to be spent on American weapons and military equipment, releasing the funds after months of congressional allocation. It noted that the State Department informed lawmakers on Thursday evening of the government's intention to release foreign military funding for Israel in the billions of dollars, adding that the funds are part of an additional funding bill amounting to $14.1 billion for Israel approved in April.
