Palestinian-Jordanian businessman Talal Abu-Ghazaleh was injured while at a hotel in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, after falling from a chair, resulting in a broken left thigh bone. Abu-Ghazaleh revealed in a video he broadcast on Monday from Clemenceau Hospital that the incident occurred inside the Venice Hotel when he accidentally fell from the chair he was sitting on, which led to his injury and necessitated his transfer to the hospital for surgery, where a steel rod was inserted to stabilize the injured bone. The prominent businessman mentioned that he is currently making arrangements to return to the Jordanian capital, Amman, and expressed his gratitude to everyone who reached out to check on his health. Abu-Ghazaleh was born in 1938 in the Palestinian city of Jaffa and his family displaced after the Nakba to Lebanon, where he attended the American University of Beirut, later specializing in business administration, and became known for establishing his companies specialized in accounting and intellectual property rights.
