The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the caretaker government, Abdullah Bou Habib, met with Miss Lebanon and first runner-up in the Miss World competition, Yasmina Zeitoun, in the presence of the Minister of Tourism in the caretaker government, Walid Nassar, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation, Pierre Daher. The ministry honored Yasmina Zeitoun with a "special passport," which is exclusively granted to political figures and individuals who have elevated Lebanon’s name internationally. Minister Bou Habib stated that "Zeitoun was an exceptional diplomat in her defense of Lebanon during her participation in the Miss World competition, especially since we have a just cause we strive for." He addressed her, saying, "As our ambassador to the world, we are proud of you, and we wanted to give you this special passport issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to facilitate your work and travels abroad," inviting her to "participate in a diplomatic training course." On his part, the Minister of Tourism noted that "Yasmina imposed new standards on the organizers and judging panel of Miss World through her unique culture and proved that beauty queens are not just defined by their external appearance but also by their culture." Zeitoun thanked Minister Bou Habib for his initiative, expressing her pride in being able to "convey Lebanon's voice to the whole world and show its beautiful image," as well as thanking the Ministry of Tourism for its support.
