The Russian Emergency Ministry reported on Sunday that four of its personnel were injured in Ukrainian shelling in the Donetsk region. It stated on Telegram: "In the Petrovsky area, firefighters (employees) were working to extinguish a fire that broke out after the Ukrainian shelling... There was a warning of new artillery shelling. They were injured in the shelling while evacuating the area." Donetsk is one of four regions in eastern and southern Ukraine that Russia announced it annexed in late 2022, a move condemned by most countries in the United Nations General Assembly, but Moscow does not fully control any of the four regions.
