A man from Pennsylvania beheaded his 68-year-old father, a federal employee, and then displayed the victim's head in a politically charged video on YouTube criticizing the federal government and President Joe Biden's administration. Justin Mowen, 32, killed his father, Michael, at their $390,000 home in Levittown, 10 miles south of Trenton, and showcased the head in a video.
Mowen urged relatives who live with federal employees to kill them, blaming the federal government for a "mob awakening" and migrants he claims are destroying the United States. He spoke loudly against "globalists and communists."
The horrific 14-minute clip, which remained on YouTube for six hours after being posted at 5:30 PM before being deleted, shows Mowen holding his father's head in a bloody plastic bag, saying, "Violence is the only solution to suppress violence." He stated, "This is the head of Mike Mowen, a federal employee for over 20 years, who is now in hell forever as a traitor to his country."
According to Levittownnow, Mowen was arrested after 9 PM on Tuesday, two hours away from his home in Fort Indiana, Pennsylvania. They confirmed that the victim had been beheaded. Middletown Police Chief Joe Bartorilla reported that police were first called to the home after 7 PM on Tuesday and found the decapitated body in the bathroom.
Mowen lived with his father, alongside his mother, Denise, 63, his brother Zachary, 35, and his sister Stephanie, 38. The video was posted on Mowen's YouTube channel, where he had 115 subscribers. There are now only four videos on the channel, featuring him singing and performing music, with a picture of his face. In the beheading video, he loudly discussed taxes, stating the economy is "on the brink of destruction," and that most Americans "can no longer afford the American dream."
Mowen went on to offer a $1 million reward to anyone who could kill high-ranking officials, including FBI Director Christopher Wray, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and former Attorney General Bill Barr. He claimed there is a "globalist and communist" conspiracy against the United States. He stated, "At this time, I have $10 million in grants, but while I secure more funds, I hope Americans continue to fight the treasonous federal government out of love for their country—not for love of the rewards. If you are a federal employee listening to this message, this is your last chance to resign from the side of traitors and join your fellow citizens in reclaiming your country. Otherwise, this is your fate." He then raised the severed head in a bucket.
He also called for targeting news stations, their owners, and employees, demanding Biden "abdicate the throne." He called for the abolition of federal debt, the Federal Reserve, and for closing the borders.
