Thanks to Vinicius... Real Madrid Draws with Valencia

The match between Valencia and their guests Real Madrid ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday evening during the 27th round of La Liga at the Mestalla Stadium. Hugo Duro and Roman Yaremchuk scored for Valencia in the 27th and 30th minutes, while Real Madrid's star Vinicius Junior netted two goals in the 45+5 and 76 minutes.

With this draw, Real Madrid's points increased to 66, maintaining its lead in the La Liga standings, while Valencia rose to 37 points, placing eighth.

The first threat of the match came from the guests in the 16th minute, when Dani Carvajal sent in a cross from the right, which Camavinga headed, but goalkeeper Mamardashvili caught the ball. Duro succeeded in scoring Valencia's first goal in the 27th minute, following a pass from Perez to his teammate, who then headed it into the net past goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. Just three minutes later, Yaremchuk added a second for the Bats, taking advantage of a poor pass from Carvajal to Lunin, dribbling the latter before easily slotting the ball into the net.

Vinicius Junior seized Real Madrid's first goal in the 45+5 minute, capitalizing on a pass inside the box from his teammate Rodrigo. Valencia fans jeered at the Brazilian after the goal, while he stood in the middle of the pitch, raising his left hand in an anti-racist gesture, which he believes represents the racism he faces from the Bats’ fans.

Goalkeeper Mamardashvili excelled with a foot save against a shot from Real Madrid's star Jude Bellingham in the 54th minute. Diego Lopez responded with a shot, which Lunin also saved with his foot in the 59th minute. Vinicius managed to score Real Madrid's second goal (2-2) in the 76th minute, receiving a cross from Ibrahim Diaz, rising to shoot into the net.

Guinean player Mouctar Diakhaby of Valencia suffered a serious injury during a clash with Real Madrid's Tchouameni. Players from both teams rushed towards Diakhaby before the medical staff entered to assist him, as he was carried off on a stretcher, appearing severely injured.

The referee awarded a penalty to Valencia in the 91st minute due to a supposed foul from Nacho against Hugo Duro, but he reversed his decision after reviewing the video technology.

English player Jude Bellingham received a red card after the match ended. Real Madrid attempted to steal a winning goal and actually scored a third, but referee Gil Manzano indicated that he had blown the final whistle before the ball hit the net, leading to a dispute on the field.

Bellingham approached the referee to protest the annulled goal and received a red card, confirming his absence for the next round against Celta Vigo. With this draw, Real Madrid's points stood at 66 at the top of the La Liga table, while Valencia's tally reached 37 points in eighth place.
