The spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, stated on Sunday that the Kingdom did not participate in the Israeli airstrikes that targeted the Yemeni city of Al Hudaydah on Saturday. He emphasized that they will not allow any breaches of Saudi airspace. In a statement, Al-Maliki said, "The Kingdom has no relation or participation in targeting Al Hudaydah," adding that it "will not allow breaches of its airspace from any party." These remarks from the Saudi Ministry of Defense follow the Israeli attack on fuel storage facilities at the port of Al Hudaydah, as well as fuel tanks at the "Ras Khatib" electricity generating station in the city located along the Red Sea coast in western Yemen.
