The Secretary-General of the "Brigades of the Master of Martyrs," part of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Alaa al-Walai, threatened Israel with "fighting from zero distance" if it waged war on Lebanon, using the entirety of their military arsenal. Al-Walai wrote on his account on the platform "X": "The geographical obstacle that prevented the Islamic resistance in Iraq from participating in the Battle of the Flooding of Al-Aqsa by striking the strongholds of the Zionist enemy from a distance exceeding eight hundred kilometers will disappear if the Zionist entity commits the folly of waging war on Lebanon, and then the fighting will be from zero distance." He added, "All types of military arsenals of the resistance will be valid for use and will strike their targets with utmost precision." This comes days after the announcement from "Kata'ib Hezbollah in Iraq" and "Nujaba Movement" that they were ready to participate alongside "Hezbollah" if they agreed, to confront any potential Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
