Video: Cotton Candy Seller Moves Egyptians to Tears

A touching video featuring a seller of the famous cotton candy has created a widespread stir among Egyptians in recent hours. The video, which has circulated on social media, shows the vendor from Upper Egypt throwing his goods into the street after losing hope of selling his candy and being forced to return home empty-handed.

After the emotional clip went viral, some businessmen and charity activists began searching for the Egyptian seller, asking for any information that could help locate him or reach out to assist him with establishing a business venture.

Moreover, social media users revealed that the seller is named Uncle Hassan and resides in one of the villages in Sohag Governorate, specifically in a village under the city of Dar al-Salam.

It became evident that he supports a large family and faced numerous inconveniences from small children during his workday, which affected him psychologically and led him to discard his products in the street.

However, Egyptian websites tracked down the seller and revealed that his full name is Mohamed Hussein, he is 42 years old, and he takes care of a big family, including four children, his wife, and his ill mother. He had stock worth 300 Egyptian pounds, which he borrowed. He indicated that he did not sell anything that day due to the children's disturbances and ended up throwing all his merchandise on the ground before returning home without any money.
