Sisi Arrives in Beijing (Video)

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has arrived in Beijing in response to an invitation from Chinese President Xi Jinping, for a state visit to the People's Republic of China. The visit includes summit talks with his Chinese counterpart and meetings with senior Chinese state officials. Discussions will focus on ways to enhance bilateral relations and open up broader avenues for cooperation in various fields, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of elevating relations between Egypt and China to a comprehensive strategic partnership. President Sisi is also scheduled to meet with the heads of several Chinese companies to explore opportunities for attracting further investments to Egypt, in light of the country's efforts to enhance mechanisms for localizing industry and transferring technology through cooperation with the private sector and foreign direct investment.
