The Israeli army reported on Tuesday that half of the leaders of Hamas's military wing have been eliminated, stating that "14,000 Hamas elements have been killed or captured since the beginning of the war." The Israeli army released data after nine months of war in Gaza, explaining, "After nine months of launching the ground maneuver, half of the leaders of Hamas's military wing have been neutralized, and approximately 14,000 elements have been injured."
It added, "The forces have neutralized and captured approximately 14,000 elements, including 6 at the brigade leader level, more than 20 at the battalion leader level, and around 150 at the company leader level." The Israeli army noted that "to date, around 37,000 aerial targets in the Gaza Strip have been attacked, and more than 25,000 military infrastructures and rocket launch sites." Israel confirmed the death of Hamas Khan Younis Brigade commander, Raef Salameh, in the airstrike that targeted Al-Mawasi on Saturday.
