Egyptian security forces arrested the suspect in the murder of a woman in the Al-Nahda area, where he led them to the scattered parts of her body around the vicinity after disposing of her due to "neighborhood disputes." According to the website "Cairo 24," the suspect confessed that the victim lived in the apartment next to him, and as she aged, she became "sharp-tongued," causing several problems with him, and threatened to "report him and slander him" to the police station, prompting him to decide to get rid of her. He used a white weapon, a knife, to stab her, and then began to dismember her body.
The suspect stated that he "distributed her limbs to garbage dumps for the dogs to eat them, to erase the traces of his crime, or to make passersby and garbage collectors believe she was disposed of in the dumps as sometimes happens, and he kept her head in his fridge, but the smell of blood continued to emanate from the apartment, prompting him to close the windows and doors to mask the odor."
For his part, the victim's brother explained that "his sister had been living in her apartment after their father passed away, but there had been intermittent neighborhood disputes between her and the suspect," adding: "There were problems between my sister and her neighbor because water was dripping in his apartment, meaning the issues were trivial between them, and some neighbors also instigated problems with my sister."
He noted that his sister was missing from home, so he went to the police station to file a report about her disappearance, only to be shocked when security forces found parts of her body. He added: "I never imagined that something would happen to my sister like this. They found parts of her body after a man reported to the authorities that he found the body of a woman, and in the end, it turned out to be my sister."
