Israel Promises a Response to the Houthis

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu conducted an assessment of the situation after the Houthis targeted Tel Aviv with a drone. The Prime Minister's office stated that "Netanyahu has been briefed on the explosion of the unidentified object in Tel Aviv. The Prime Minister has now completed the security situation assessment via phone, with participation from heads of security agencies and institutions." Israeli officials told the "Ynet" website that "there will be a response to the drone launched by the Houthis, and the option of responding on Yemeni territory is on the table and should not be ruled out." Officials added: "The assessment in Israel is that the target of the attack was the United States Embassy." It is worth noting that a massive explosion shook Ben Yehuda Street in Tel Aviv early Friday, occurring near the U.S. Embassy building in the city. The explosion resulted in one death and ten injuries, as announced by the Israeli police. This morning, the Yemeni "Ansar Allah" movement announced that it "hit an important target in Tel Aviv with a new drone named 'Yafa' capable of evading interception systems and undetectable by radar."
