The governor of Belgorod Oblast, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced that Ukrainian forces' attacks on the region on June 14 resulted in the deaths of seven civilians and injuries to ten others. Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel: "Yesterday, the shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces caused the deaths of 7 civilians and wounded 10 others, with 3 of them being hospitalized. I extend my sincere condolences to all the relatives and friends of the victims."
Gladkov noted that the number of victims from the collapse of the entrance to a multi-story building in the town of Shchebikino following the Ukrainian shelling has risen to five, after a woman died in the hospital. He stated: "The remains of four individuals were retrieved from under the rubble, and unfortunately, a woman who was injured in the incident died in the hospital, raising the death toll to 5." The governor mentioned that surgery was performed on the injured woman, but her heart stopped due to the severe injury. He clarified that six civilians were injured due to the building's entrance collapse, and six people were rescued from the upper floors.
