Israel announced the evacuation of the town of Joshua in the Upper Galilee near the border with Lebanon. In this context, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant officially added the town of Joshua in the Upper Galilee to the list of border settlements that have been evacuated within less than five kilometers from the Lebanese border. Tensions with Hezbollah have been escalating for over eight months along the Lebanese-Israeli border, coinciding with the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip. Since the outbreak of war between Israel and Hamas on October 7, Hezbollah and Israel have been exchanging fire almost daily.
