Jordan: We Will Not Allow Any Escalation in the Region at Our Expense

Jordanian King Abdullah II emphasized that "Jordan does not accept having the future of the region held hostage by the policies of the extremist right-wing Israeli government." He affirmed "Jordan's efforts to achieve calm in the region and calls on the active parties in the world to take immediate action to stop the war in Gaza." He added: "We will not allow any escalation in the region at the expense of Jordanians or Jordan's security and safety from any party."
