Accusation of Former Egyptian Officer for Kidnapping and Forcible Sexual Relations with Former MP

Egyptian authorities referred a former police officer to the criminal court on charges of "forcibly engaging in sexual relations with a former MP." According to the details, investigative authorities referred the former police officer to the criminal court for assault and holding a former member of parliament from one of the districts in Alexandria captive after engaging with her inside an apartment in the Maadi area and forcing her to sign a promissory note for one million Egyptian pounds while filming a video during the encounter.

Investigations revealed that the accused officer met the former MP while working to secure the parliament area, and an illicit relationship developed between them. Investigations into the case involving the former officer "M. A." revealed that the victim's sister received a call from her, informing her that she was being held in a building in the Maadi area before her phone was turned off.

Subsequently, the sister reported the situation to the police, stating that her sister was in distress. Upon investigation and conducting inquiries, authorities were able to locate her in a duplex apartment on the seventh and eighth floors in Maadi. Upon approaching the apartment door, they heard cries for help. The accused refused to open the door; however, after some time, he was persuaded to do so. Upon entering, they found the former MP in a state of exhaustion with injuries, including a bruise on her jaw and multiple bruises on her forearms.

Investigations indicated that the former MP had gone to the officer's apartment after he convinced her that he wanted to discuss a business investment between them. After she arrived, he locked the door, assaulted her, held her captive, then threatened her with photos documenting their relationship and forced her to sign a promissory note for one million pounds. When confronted, he admitted to having a relationship with her but denied holding her captive or coercing her to sign the promissory note.

Investigative authorities decided to refer the former officer to the criminal court on charges of "kidnapping the former MP through deception by claiming he wanted to talk to her and meet with others regarding business dealings, thus luring her to his residence, taking advantage of their prior acquaintance and her trust in him."
