Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani and his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein called for diplomacy and de-escalation in the Middle East on Monday, expressing deep concern over the rising tensions threatening the entire region. In a joint statement, they urged "all parties involved to resort to dialogue and diplomacy to promote de-escalation and provide room for a lasting ceasefire in Gaza."
