# Dubai Police Seek to Enhance Security Cooperation with Italy

The Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, and the Chief of Police and the Director General of Public Security in Italy, Vittorio Pisani, discussed ways to strengthen collaboration between the two sides in policing, security, and combating organized crime, as well as establishing strategies to achieve their desired goals. This took place during a meeting with the Italian Chief of Police and the accompanying delegation at the Ministry of Interior in the Italian capital, Rome, on Saturday. The meeting, organized by the Coordination and Planning Office of the Italian Police, was part of the distinguished international cooperation relations with the Ministry of Interior of the United Arab Emirates, represented by the General Command of Dubai Police. The discussion included mechanisms for unifying efforts in joint operations and opening direct communication channels for exchanging professional experiences and mutual training to curb organized and cross-border crimes, as well as combating drug trafficking and money laundering using cryptocurrencies.
