Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his visit to the "Russia" international exhibition, endorsed the proposal of Emirati young woman Arwa Tariq Mohammed for broader promotion of Russian culture in the UAE, and promised to discuss her proposal with the Emirati president.
While at the exhibition held in Moscow, President Putin met with foreign participants in the World Youth Festival, including Arwa Tariq Mohammed from the UAE, Davis Akamporira from Uganda, Lucas Adrian Garcia from Argentina, and Ksenia Razovaieva, head of the "Rus Moldioug" foundation.
During the conversation, Arwa Tariq Mohammed requested President Putin to intensify the promotion of Russian culture in the UAE and to develop cultural centers in the Gulf countries, as well as to benefit from the experience of sovereign wealth funds. She also discussed the idea of establishing a separate center for startups and entrepreneurs in the UAE and inviting Russians to participate in it.
President Putin responded, "This is a very good idea. We are in touch with our friend, the President of the UAE… We will definitely discuss this proposal."
