Bukhari on "Saudi National Day": I Appreciate Your Feelings... Sustainable Solutions Come Only from Within Lebanon

Bukhari on

The Saudi embassy in Lebanon celebrated the 93rd Saudi National Day with a grand event attended by many presidents, politicians, diplomats, party leaders, security figures, and media personalities. The Saudi ambassador in Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, highly valued the feelings of the large audience at the beginning of the gathering, stating: "The Saudi position is at the forefront of international stances emphasizing the necessity of expediting the election of a president. The presidential entitlement is a domestic Lebanese matter, and we are confident that the Lebanese can bear the responsibility." He continued, "From here, from the thresholds of downtown Beirut, we remember together our glorious national day, which is linked to the greatest meanings of the word 'unity' and the unification of voices in a strong and cohesive entity and state under the reign of the late King Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud."

He added, "We are confident in the will of the brotherly Lebanese people; Lebanon has accustomed us to its resilience against crises and its ability to rise from them. It will remain a haven for thought and a culture of life, regaining its brilliance and active role among the countries in the region, and its people will enjoy prosperity and success. We share a common responsibility to maintain the stability of this country and protect its sovereignty, and we have always affirmed that sustainable solutions come only from within Lebanon." Bukhari concluded his speech on Saudi National Day by saying, "From my heart, peace be upon Beirut."

Notably, the invitation was accepted by MP Gibran Bassil and Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea to the national celebration. The event, held in Amin Hafiz Square near the Roman Theater in downtown Beirut, serves as a message of the return of life to the capital and its leading role in the region and the Arab world.
