The organizers of the "Beirut Festivals," held at the "Beirut Waterfront," continue to announce their artistic program, which launched on July 18 with a concert by Elissa. Today, against all expectations and despite exceptional security conditions, a concert for artist Abdul Rahman Fouaz, known as "Al-Shami," took place with a very large audience turnout.
It is noteworthy that "Beirut Festivals" is returning this summer after a four-year absence and is organized by companies 2U2C, Star System, and GAT. "Al-Shami" appeared before the audience tonight after his songs stirred controversy in the artistic community, most notably: "Ya Layl Ya Laein," "Sabra," and recently "Khudni."
