Russian Defense Ministry: Destruction of a Large Aircraft Fuel Depot in Central Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that its forces have destroyed a depot containing more than 100,000 tons of aircraft fuel in the Cherkasy region of central Ukraine. The Russian defense report stated that over the past day, its forces continued to carry out strikes using long-range precision weapons launched from the air, targeting military command sites and energy systems in Ukraine, asserting that all targeted sites were hit.

Here are the highlights from the Russian defense report:

- All Ukrainian attacks were repelled at the Krasny Liman front (over 70 Ukrainian soldiers killed) and in southern Donetsk (more than 40 killed), Kupiansk (20 killed), and Kherson (90 killed).

- Five ammunition depots of Ukrainian forces were destroyed in Kharkiv, Kherson, Donetsk, and Mykolaiv.

- Fifteen Ukrainian drones were shot down in various areas, and six missiles from American HIMARS rocket launchers and one HARM radar-guided missile were intercepted.

- The Kyiv regime has continued its provocations aimed at creating a technological disaster threat at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, as Ukrainian artillery fired over 30 shells in a day at the city of Enerhodar and the surrounding area of the Zaporizhzhia plant, with Russian forces countering the sources of fire.

- The total destroyed in Ukraine since the beginning of the military operation includes 325 airplanes, 162 helicopters, 2,323 drones, 383 anti-aircraft missile systems, 5,997 tanks and other armored vehicles, 874 multiple rocket launchers, 3,517 pieces of field artillery and mortars, and 6,720 military vehicles.
