Shocking Response from the Leader of the Druze Community on the Majdal Shams Massacre

In response to the tragedy in Majdal Shams, which resulted in the death of 10 children and injured 34 others due to a shell landing, Sheikh Muwaffaq Tarif, the leader of the Druze community, stated to "Bokra": "We are in great shock from the horrific massacre that occurred this evening in the Druze town of Majdal Shams, in a brutal and bloody terrorist attack that targeted innocent children playing football. It is unimaginable to conceive or describe the scenes of horror amongst the children and their shattered bodies scattered on the grass! He added: A respectable state cannot allow continued harm to its citizens and residents. This has been the reality for the past nine months in the northern villages. This evening has crossed all possible red and black lines. From this shock and terrible pain - I do not want to say anything else right now!"
