French TV channel TF1 reported that personal data of Israeli athletes participating in the Paris Olympics has been leaked online. Information surfaced on social media regarding the athletes' blood test results, passwords for different services, and details about Israelis who served in the Israeli army. The incident is under investigation by the National Center for Combating Online Hate and the French Cybercrime Office. Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz sent a message to his French counterpart, Stéphane Séjourné, warning him about an "Iran-backed conspiracy to attack the Israeli delegation at the Paris 2024 Olympics." According to the Times of Israel, the 88 Israeli athletes at the Paris Games are under round-the-clock protection from French security forces, as well as oversight from Shin Bet officials.
