The United Nations announced today, Monday, that it will "terminate the employment of nine staff members from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) who may have participated in the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7." UN Secretary-General's deputy spokesman Farhan Haq stated, "For the nine individuals, the evidence was sufficient for us to conclude that they may have been involved in the attacks of October 7."
