Raghad Saddam, the daughter of the late Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, announced that she has begun publishing some of her father's private memoirs during his detention, sparking significant reactions. On her account on the platform "X," Raghad Saddam Hussein shared pictures from her father's memoirs, commenting: "Every year, may the Arab nation be well... a nation that has always been the most important in your struggle, yet the nation is not well, and Iraq is not well, my father, as nations have conspired against it. However, I promised you that Iraq will be well, God willing."
She added: "Today I decided to start publishing a small part of your memoirs in my own way, as publishing houses have 'restrictions on publishing them,' and today will be important for many of your fans and even others." She continued: "We dedicate your personal memoirs that you wrote during your time in the American detention in Iraq to them... To you, my father, all respect and appreciation, brave hero, to the eternal gardens, you high banner. Attached are 40 photos—a 'very small part' of the memoirs of my father, the martyr president Saddam Hussein in captivity."
