The main index of the Saudi stock market closed today, Tuesday, down by 24.52 points to settle at 12,484.41 points, with trading values amounting to 8.4 billion riyals. According to the daily economic bulletin from the Saudi Press Agency, the volume of traded shares reached 409 million shares, where 71 companies recorded an increase in their share value, while 157 companies saw their shares close lower.
The companies with the highest increases included: United Insurance, Othaim Telecommunications, Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance, National Company, and Amiantit. In contrast, the companies with the largest declines were: Al-Fatih Group, MBC Group, Anam Holding, Sinomi Retail, and Al Hamadi, with price changes ranging between 6.67% and 4.77%.
The most active companies by volume were: Anam Holding, Shams, Al-Baha, Batic, and Americana, while the most active companies by value were: Othaim Telecommunications, Al Rajhi, Aqua Power, Alinma, and Amiantit. The parallel stock market index (Nomu) closed today up by 95.74 points, ending at 26,691.96 points, with a trading value of 42.8 million riyals and a traded volume of more than two million shares.
