Among the notable heritage sports events is the UAE Falconry League, taking place from January 10 to February 27, with significant participation from local owners. The President's Cup for Falconry will be organized by the Abu Dhabi Falconers Club from January 12 to 27.
The Al Ain Equestrian Club will hold the International Show Jumping Championship from January 10 to 14, and the 11th edition of the Fatima bint Mubarak Academy Women's Sports Show Jumping Championship from January 18 to 21.
In Al Dhafra, the Al Dhafra Arabian Horse Beauty Championship will be held from January 18 to 21, showcasing elite purebred Arabian horses, while the Al Dhafra Running Festival will take place on January 24, followed by the Al Dhafra Cycling Festival on January 25.
Zayed Port will host the Abu Dhabi Grand Sailing Cup on January 13 and 14, and the Abu Dhabi Falconers Club will organize the President's Cup for Falcon Beauty on January 24 and 25, along with the President's Cup for Heded at the same time.
The Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club will organize the Abu Dhabi Marine Festival from January 24 to February 4.
The Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City will witness the first competitions of the new year for the "Emirates Warriors" mixed martial arts championships, part of the Arab series, featuring a selection of Arab fighters.
The Abu Dhabi 3x3 Basketball League will return from January 20 to February 24, taking place at Abu Dhabi Cricket Sports Heat.
Additionally, Al Wahda Club will organize an international friendly football tournament involving four clubs from January 18 to February 24, which includes Al Wahda, Egyptian Zamalek, Saudi Al-Ettifaq, and Qatari Umm Salal.
