Title: Billboard Collapse Causes Metro Train Disruption in Egypt

A massive billboard collapse in Egypt caused a sudden disruption in the subway system and halted one of the trains, leading to congestion of passengers at the metro station. The Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation announced that a malfunction occurred at Ghamra metro station heading towards Helwan due to the fall of an advertisement board from outside the metro fence above October Bridge, resulting in a technical failure in one of the trains.

The company stated that the malfunctioning train was removed due to the fallen billboard, and the power supply was cut off for 25 to 30 minutes, stopping train movement in the Ghamra area only until the advertisement board was lifted and the power supply was restored, allowing normal operations across all stations. Emergency teams were dispatched to the site of the malfunction, the board was removed, and train services resumed. Several trains were deployed to reduce the congestion of citizens caused by the disruption. The fallen billboard was retained for investigation to identify the responsible company for necessary legal actions.
