Mikati Inspects the Progress of Technical Certificate Exams in Tripoli

Prime Minister Najib Mikati inspected the conduct of the official technical certificate exams in Tripoli, during a tour he made at the "Ahmad Oweida Institute" center in the Mina area of Tripoli, accompanied by the Director General of Vocational and Technical Education, Mrs. Hanadi Berri.

Mikati toured the examination rooms and listened to the concerns and opinions of the students regarding the exam questions. In a statement, he said: "In light of all the challenges facing the country today, we see a glimmer of hope in the young men and women who insist on continuing their educational journey. This would not have been possible without the determination of the Ministry of Education and Minister Abbas Halabi, as well as the relevant directorates, especially the Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education and the Directorate of Secondary Education, which have taken all necessary measures to conduct these exams."

He added, "We congratulate the Ministry of Education, hoping to congratulate the students on their anticipated success, as we look forward to a new generation that is pioneering in its hopes and aspirations."

In response to a question about the risks faced by students in the south, he said: "All centers in the south are conducting exams normally, with absenteeism not exceeding one percent. This confirms the determination of the people of the south to steadfastly remain in their land. Today, we began the first round in Tripoli and will continue with tours of the examination centers in the south and other regions."
