Israeli Airstrike Targets School in Gaza, Causing Casualties

Palestinian media reported today, Tuesday, that 8 individuals were killed and several were injured as a result of an Israeli strike on the Abdul Fattah Hammoud School in the Yafa area, central Gaza City. The Gaza Civil Defense stated that its medical teams retrieved 8 fatalities along with several injuries due to the attack on the school.

Palestinian media also mentioned that two fatalities and several injuries were reported following an airstrike on a house in the Shuja’iyya area, eastern Gaza. It has been reported that clashes between resistance fighters and the Israeli army continue on multiple fronts.

Additionally, the Palestinian news agency reported on Monday evening that 5 Palestinians, including 3 children, were killed, and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, central Gaza.

Israeli aircraft also launched a series of attacks on the town of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza and the Sheikh Ajleen neighborhood in the southwest of the region, coinciding with artillery shelling on the city of Beit Hanoun in the north. Moreover, two Palestinians were killed and others were injured in airstrikes carried out by Israeli forces on the city of Rafah in southern Gaza.

Military vehicles advanced into areas south of Rafah amidst heavy gunfire and artillery bombardment, and Israeli forces set fire to several homes in the Saudi neighborhood west of the city, according to the Palestinian news agency.
