Arrest of 6 Individuals in the Safir Area – Southern Suburb

The Army Command - Direction of Guidance reported that "following a dispute that escalated into gunfire resulting in the death of a citizen due to personal disagreements, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested citizens (Sh.M.), (H.M.), and (H.A.M.), as well as the Syrian (S.K.) in the Safir area – southern suburb. They raided the home of citizen (A.M.) for their involvement in the incident, forming an armed gang and firing shots to intimidate citizens, in addition to setting fire to commercial shops. During the raid, a quantity of war ammunition and military equipment was seized." A unit from the army also arrested at the entrance of the Ain al-Hilweh camp the Palestinians (P.M.) and (M.A.) who were wanted for gunfire. The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the detainees was initiated under the supervision of the relevant judiciary.
