# "Violation of the Constitution": Ghada Aoun Threatens the Prime Minister with Prosecution

#

Judge Ghada Aoun responded to Prime Minister Najib Mikati's letter to all ministries and public administrations, emphasizing the need to comply with the circular issued by the public prosecutor the day before. She wrote on "X": "Do you all understand what it means, oh participants, oh embezzlers? It means you are not allowed to know where the 8 billion went. You are forbidden to know what the Paris document includes, and the governor is prohibited from providing information. This is a plan to steal your money, and you are not allowed to open any files; the judiciary cannot hold anyone accountable for the theft of your funds."

She added, "What a disgrace! When will you wake up and refuse this open theft?" She concluded: "No, Mr. Prime Minister, this violation of the constitution is unacceptable; there is a separation of powers, and you are not allowed to send this letter to the administrations. You are not allowed to violate Article 7 of Law No. 206/2022 to protect yourself or anyone else. You are clearly violating the law, and this exposes you to prosecution."

Prime Minister Najib Mikati sent a letter to all ministries and public administrations, emphasizing the necessity to comply with the circular issued by the public prosecutor the previous day, which aims to restore order to the work of the appellate public prosecutor in Mount Lebanon, based on a letter received by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers today from the public prosecutor at the Court of Cassation, Judge Jamal Al-Hajjar.
