The Minister of Industry in the caretaker government, George Bouchikian, has granted licensed factory owners a three-month period "to clearly and legibly include the license decision number on Lebanese industrial products, under the penalty of exposing violators to the penalties stipulated by law." This was stated in the decision issued by Minister Bouchikian, numbered 69/1, dated 25/7/2024, which stipulates the following:
"Article One: All industrial institutions, regardless of their category, are required to include the industrial investment license number and its date issued by the Ministry of Industry or any official administrative authority on all Lebanese industrial products in a clear and legible manner.
Article Two: The requirement stated in Article One of this decision is considered a condition for obtaining a license for the industrial institution, and any violation of it exposes the concerned party to the measures and penalties stipulated by the applicable laws and regulations.
Article Three: Industrial institutions are granted a period of three months from the date of the enforcement of this decision to comply with its contents.
Article Four: This decision takes effect from the date of its publication in the official gazette."
