Iranian Forces Monitor Aircraft Carrier Eisenhower with Drones

The Iranian news agency "Mehr" reported that the Iranian Navy is monitoring the American naval fleet using drones before it enters the Gulf waters. Today, the Iranian Navy released a video showing that the American fleet, which includes the aircraft carrier "CVN-69 Eisenhower," the Philippine cruiser "CG56," the destroyer "DDG107 Gravely," the destroyer "DDG63 Stettem," and the French frigate "D-653 Longdong," was detected by manned and unmanned intelligence systems of the Navy prior to entering the Gulf waters. The U.S. command stated in a Sunday announcement that the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group (IKECSG) had completed its transit through the Strait of Hormuz to enter Gulf waters while continuing to support U.S. Central Command missions. It added that the Eisenhower aircraft carrier will conduct patrols to ensure freedom of navigation in major international waterways while supporting U.S. Central Command requirements throughout the region.
