The Weather Forecast Department at the Meteorological Service indicated that tomorrow’s weather will be partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy, with a noticeable drop in temperatures, an increase in humidity, and dense fog at times in the highlands.
The bulletin states the following:
- Expected weather in Lebanon:
- Today: Partly cloudy to cloudy with high clouds, with a gradual and significant increase in temperatures reaching around 5 degrees above seasonal averages. Winds will be active and may strengthen at times starting in the afternoon, reaching nearly 70 km/h, carrying light layers of dust. Humidity will rise during the night, and clouds will thicken, leading to fog formation in the medium elevations, with sporadic drizzle expected late Monday/Tuesday.
- Monday: Partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy with a noticeable drop in temperatures and an increase in humidity, resulting in dense fog at times in the highlands. Winds will be strong in the morning, reaching 80 km/h, with an increase in sea waves. Light and sporadic rain is expected, which could be muddy overall.
- Tuesday: Partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy with high clouds and a slight increase in temperatures, with local fog in the highlands.
- Wednesday: Partly cloudy with a slight decrease in temperatures and light sporadic rain expected in the early morning.
- Expected temperatures: On the coast, between 9 to 26 degrees; in the mountains, between 14 to 24 degrees; in the interior, between 6 to 25 degrees.
- Surface winds: Northwesterly to northeasterly during the day, shifting to southwesterly in the afternoon, with a speed between 15 and 50 km/h, intensifying at times to exceed 75 km/h starting in the evening.
- Visibility: Moderate, occasionally worsening due to dust layers and at night in the medium elevations due to fog.
- Humidity: Coastal relative humidity between 50 and 70%.
