Russia: We Are Concerned About Rising Tensions in the Middle East

The Russian Foreign Ministry has expressed deep concern regarding the escalating tensions in the Middle East, emphasizing the importance of preventing an escalation that could have catastrophic consequences for the entire region. This statement came during a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and the Arab League representative in Moscow, Walid Hamed Shaltagh. The two parties discussed current issues related to enhancing interaction between Russia and the Arab League in order to achieve a swift resolution to conflicts and crises in the Middle East and North Africa. In a statement published on the official website of the Foreign Ministry, it was noted: "At the same time, there was deep concern expressed about the rising tensions in the region, and the importance of preventing further escalation that could lead to catastrophic consequences for the entire Middle East."
